Dr. Yaounde Olu

Yaounde Olu has maintained a studio at Bridgeport Art Center for over a decade. She is also a founder of Drum Divas, a female drumming group that performs widely in the Chicago area. She recently participated in a notable exhibition of African-American Chicago artists at the University of Chicago’s Smart Museum.

Jeffrey Hirst

Jeffrey Hirst has exhibited his work throughout the United States since the early 1990’s. His work has been showcased at numerous national and international venues. Hirst also is the owner of Hirst Printmaking in the Bridgeport Art Center, a Printmaking shop specializing in Intaglio, Screenprinting, and Experimental Approaches towards combining printmaking and encaustic.
